David M. Pinette

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – David M. Pinette died suddenly on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025.

David was born March 1, 1960, to David D. Pinette and Claire Nepveu Pinette in Nashua, N.H.

He attended schools in Nashua, N.H. and Pennsylvania, graduating from Punxsutawney High School in 1978. Following graduation, he took many jobs but was most proud, later in life, to be an over-the-road truck driver, being employed by J.B Hunt & England. For awhile he owned and operated his own truck.

Dave was a Star Trek fan from 9 years old to the end. He’d enjoyed dirt bike riding, reading, TV and building beautiful birdhouses and furniture.

Left to treasure his memories are his three sons, Timothy of Florida, Bradley, U.S. Army Germany, and Alexander of Maine; a beautiful granddaughter, Tessa. He leaves behind his mom, Claire E. Pinette, who will forever keep him in her heart; his three siblings, Catherine C. Wear of Maine (loved to come home to her cooking), Stephen J. Pinette of South Carolina, Paul A. Pinette of Maine. He also leaves a cousin and friend, Donnie Pinette; and several cousins; nephews and nieces.

He retired in Florida sharing a home with his son, Tim and wife Tanya. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Calumet Club, 334 West River Rd., Augusta.
