FARMINGTON — The Falls Fire Co., Inc. has set the date for their annual Yard Sale and Chicken BBQ for Saturday, July 19, and will be located on Philbrick Park field. Mark your calendar now. They are currently asking for donations of clean, sellable, new, or slightly used items.

Please no dishes, clothes, magazines, or books. You may call Junior at 778-2181 or Bob at 778-3156 to set up a time to drop off your items at the Falls Fire Co. Station at 114 Philbrick Road in Farmington Falls, or if you can’t drop them off, to make arrangements to have someone pick up your items for the yard sale. The Yard Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Farmington Falls Fire Co., Inc. uses the money from this event to maintain the field, purchase needed equipment for the Hawks ball teams, and pay the insurance for the Cal Ripken League and field. We are pleased to announce that “Best Friends” will again be providing the entertainment under the pavilion starting at 11:30 a.m. They have been a crowd favorite for several years.

Bob Gramlich and his crew will be cooking the Chicken BBQ and plan to serve the chicken at noon. The meal will include a half chicken, pickles, roll and butter, chips, dessert, and a beverage. We appreciate your support. For more information, please call 778-3156.
