Jeannie M. Cannell

SOUTH PARIS – Jeannie Marie Cannell, 43, of South Paris, the daughter of Patricia Ann Wing (of Ludlow, Vt.) and the late Lester Keith Wing (of Oxford), passed away the morning of May 16, 2025 at her home.

Jeannie’s life was focused on family and friends that became family. As a stay-at-home mom, Jeannie enjoyed cooking dinners, gathering at the table and listening to stories. For fun, Jeannie enjoyed going to a lake, beach or to the ocean, specifically Old Orchard Beach.

Jeannie is survived by her husband Dan Cannell of South Paris; daughter, Bailey Conners (Zach) of South Paris; surrogate son, Jamison McGuire of Salisbury, Vt.; and son, Austin Cannell of So. Paris; mother, Patricia Wing; sister, Tammy Emery (James) of Alton, Ill.; sister, Amber Brawley of Alton, Ill..; sister-in-law, Rebecca Trischuk (Steve); and sister-in-law, Roberta Rappoccio; her “Goodie”, Amy McGuire (Jim); granddaughters, Skylar and Serenity; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, Lester Keith Wing in December of 2023; and uncle, Richard Wing in July of 2024.

There will be a celebration of life from 1pm to 5 p.m., on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the VFW in Paris, 58 E Main St. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
