Joyce Richard
DIXFIELD – Joyce Richard, 82, passed away on May 13, 2025, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient. Joyce was born on Feb. 28, 1943, the daughter of Charles and Marion (Hunt) Sanborn.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for the State of Maine. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Dixfield Congregational Church.
Joyce is survived by her son, Brian Richard and wife Jennifer of Texas; grandchildren, Tamara Richard and Troy Richard, Lauren Poster and Tyler Richard.
She was predeceased by a son, Gary Richard; and brothers David and Allen Sanborn.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, at the Village Cemetery in Burnham. Friends and Family are invited to call at the Meader and Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St., Rumford, 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday May 28.
