Dennis L. Kemp

LEEDS – Dennis L. Kemp, 64, a resident of Leeds, passed away May 25, 2025, at his home. He was born on Sept. 28, 1960, in Lewiston, the son of Charles and Pauline (Smith) Kemp. He attended schools in Wales, Leeds and Leavitt Area High School in Turner. Dennis worked as a laborer for Morin Brick, RA Mosher Construction and Smith Farms. Dennis married Judith “Judy” (Richards) Ware, in Leeds on Nov. 18, 2002; sadly, Judy passed away on May 3, 2020. Dennis enjoyed carpentry, his dog Gunner and his friends. He was one of a kind full of surprises. He was a loyal friend with a heart of gold. Though quiet at times, his thoughts ran deep and were often for others.

He is survived by sisters; Charlene Kemp, Elaine Bragdon, Rowena Fletcher, Arlene Richard and her companion Bill Rines, a brother, Stanwood Kemp, stepdaughter, Katrina Dupuis and her husband Mark, four stepsons, Jason Peterson and wife Elisha, Matthew Peterson and his wife Kate and Kris Ware, also, many aunts and uncles, six step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, plus great- great nieces and great-great nephews.
