Gerald “Moose” E. Morris
CANTON – Gerald “Moose” E. Morris, 68, of Turner, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Pinnacle Health and Rehabilitation in Canton. He was born on March 8, 1957, in Lewiston, the son of Freeland Morris and Laura (Wing) Morris. Moose attended school at Leavitt. He was an equipment operator at K&K Excavation for many years, worked at 74 Auto, was a farmer, and even a lobsterman on Monhegan Island. He is survived by his brother Barry Morris of Livermore Falls, sister Sherri Jordan and husband Matt of Turner, niece Danielle (Gracie) Stevens and husband Adam of Turner, nephew Jamie Morris and wife Julia of California, great nieces Ridgeleigh and Cashlynn Stevens, quirky friend Mary Seaman of Turner, and a lifelong friend Lonnie Richardson of Turner. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, June 1, at Keene’s Mills Cemetery, North Parish Road, Turner. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at 379 Pleasant Pond Road, Turner. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
