Strong Partnership Enhances Member Benefits
The RRS&TA operates in partnership with the Rangeley Region Guides and Sportsmen’s Association (RRGSA), creating a comprehensive outdoor recreation experience for the Rangeley community. Members of the RRGSA receive reciprocal membership benefits with the RRS&TA, providing additional value and expanded shooting opportunities throughout the region.
This collaborative relationship between the two organizations strengthens the outdoor sports community in the Rangeley area, offering members access to both clay shooting sports and the broader range of outdoor activities and expertise that the guides and sportsmen’s association provides.
Through its partnership with the RRGSA, the shooting community benefits from extended community involvement beyond the range. The RRGSA hosts monthly potluck dinners every third Thursday from May through December at the Guides’ clubhouse on Old Ski Way Road, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. These gatherings are open to the public and feature informational presentations on sporting, wildlife, conservation, and other topics of interest to outdoor enthusiasts.
The collaborative approach between the RRS&TA and RRGSA exemplifies how outdoor organizations can work together to strengthen community engagement and provide enhanced value to members while promoting conservation and outdoor education.
The Rangeley area’s natural setting provides a backdrop for clay shooting sports, combining recreational shooting with the scenic beauty of Maine’s western mountains and lakes region.
