NORWAY — The Dirigo Dragons, Maine’s premier dragon boat racing team, founded in 2024, is recruiting members to train on Norway Lake for competitive racing. The team trains under USDBF-certified coaches with decade-long experience from Florida’s racing circuit. Members focus on skill development and team building while preparing to compete in New England Dragon Boat festivals.
An informational meeting is June 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the Teen Room at Norway Library (no RSVP needed). Practice starts June 12, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at 61 Lake Road, Norway Lake.
