In the heart of our beautiful town, the spirit of Paris continues to shine brightly. Whether it’s gathering under the stars for fireworks, sharing a quiet morning at the farmers market, or watching kids laugh as they make slime in the park, the Town of Paris is alive with connection, kindness, and community pride. This edition of Paris Pulse is packed with moments that remind us what makes our town so special—our people. Come, discover what’s happening and how you can be part of it.

Community Events to bring us together:

Independence Day Fireworks – July 3
A beloved tradition returns as the Town of Paris invites everyone to join in celebrating Independence Day with a dazzling fireworks display on East Oxford Road. The event begins at dusk, so come early with your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the summer evening with neighbors and friends.
The night begins with food trucks at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks lighting up the sky at 9 p.m.. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to a generous anonymous donor, along with Norway Lake White Raven Tattoo and Shaw Farm, whose support made this night of wonder possible.
It’s more than fireworks—it’s a celebration of who we are as a community. Come share in the joy and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Yoga Kids with Three Eyed Raven – Ages 2–6 (Free)
Each Monday in June, Moore Park transforms into a peaceful and playful space where children aged 2 to 6 can connect with nature, movement, and one another through the Yoga Kids with Three Eyed Raven program. From 9 to 10:30 a.m., little ones stretch, breathe, and laugh their way into a new week. This free class is a gift made possible by a local toddler mom who believes in supporting young families. We’re currently seeking additional sponsors to help continue this enriching program into the future, whether for the class itself or the healthy breakfast we provide. To support this meaningful initiative or learn more, contact Paris Parks and Recreation at [email protected] or call 743-2501, extension 8.

Paris Farmers Market – Fridays, June 20 to August 22
Every Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, Moore Park is filled with the smell of fresh herbs, the sight of vibrant produce, and the sound of friendly chatter at the Paris Farmers Market. Come support local growers and artisans while connecting with the people who make our town thrive. Interested in sharing your homegrown goods or handmade items? Contact Paris Parks and Recreation or visit the Town Office to learn how to become a vendor.

New Pickleball Court on Paris Hill
There’s something special about playing on a court surrounded by the natural beauty of Paris Hill. Our brand-new pickleball and basketball court is now open for everyone to enjoy, free of charge. It’s a space where families, friends, and neighbors can come together, stay active, and have fun.
If you’re interested in leading pickleball lessons, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out to Paris Parks and Recreation and help us grow this exciting new addition to town life.
