The Bethel Rotary Annual Yard Sale, scheduled from Tuesday, Aug. 5 to Monday, Aug. 11, will be held on the lawn next to the Gem Theater on Cross Street in Bethel.

The club is still accepting donations – items in good condition, except for clothing, books, old computers, appliances, or sofa beds. To donate, please contact Rotarian Scott Parker at 207-890-0917.

Thousands of items have already been donated, and we expect this to be a sale that has something for everyone. Many of the larger items (furniture, etc.) will have prices, but most of the items will not be marked with a price, and a Rotarian on duty can provide costs on smaller items.

Please remember that the proceeds from this event are reinvested right back into our community through our area high school/post-secondary scholarship program and other very worthy community causes/organizations. Over the course of many years, Bethel Rotary has provided tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships to students who reside in the greater Bethel area. The club has also provided financial assistance to dozens of worthy local causes and organizations. This yard sale makes that all possible!
