Gary Weston
RUMFORD – Gary Weston, 72, of Mexico, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, July 10, 2025.
Gary was born in Rumford on Dec. 16, 1952, son to Margaret (Turner) and Orton Weston. Gary was proud to be of the Mexico / Rumford area where he grew up, went to school, had a family, and was a known member of the community.
Gary worked at the Forster Manufacturing Company in Wilton for over 25 years, Franklin Printing in Farmington for a number of years, and more recently worked at the Rumford Eagles, where he also enjoyed frequenting to “sign the book.” He also worked on cars part time, which was a passion of his.
Gary had many hobbies including a love for woodworking, known for making chests and cribbage boards; playing the game of cribbage, where he could often be found multiple days a week playing tournaments; hiking with the Peak-A-Week club; and was known for being an all-around handy man.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Levi, son-in-law, Max Levi; two grandchildren, Cameron and Avery Levi; sister, Cynthia Weston and brother, James Weston.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday July 26, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America to support Alzheimer’s and Dementia research and treatment.
