Paul G. Landry

LEWISTON – Paul G. Landry, 81, of Lewiston, passed away on July 15, 2025.

He was born on Nov. 29, 1943, to Henri and Lucille Landry. He grew up in Lewiston along with his three brothers, Bert, Gerry, and Guy. Early in life, Paul would find his lifelong partner, Gisele, with whom he shared 62 happy years of marriage.

Paul spent much of his life working as a Local 29 Union Boilermaker. During his decades of work, he would make countless stories with his union brothers. Both sons would follow Paul’s footsteps, becoming boilermakers. Paul was a committed Catholic and longtime parishioner of Holy Cross Church. In addition, he was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus.

Paul was the type to never stop working, even well into retirement. His handiwork skills were great, especially in carpentry and auto work. These skills were often utilized in acts of love, such as building his son’s home from the foundation up, or taking on countless repair jobs. He had a deep love of fixing up wrecked vehicles, many of them would eventually be gifted to his loved ones.

Somehow Paul also found time for leisure. He loved the outdoors; boating, fishing, hunting, and golfing all brought him great joy. Even after decades together, he still looked forward to weekend lunch dates with Gisele.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Thursday, July 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 25, at 11 a.m., at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston followed by committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lewiston.
