Crystal Dawn Muncey

PORTLAND – Crystal Dawn Muncey, 60, of Lewiston, Maine passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 after battling cancer with incredible strength and grace.

Crystal was raised in Strong, Maine, by her beloved aunt and uncle, Mary and George “Pop” Tyler, who taught her the meaning of love, resilience, and family—values she carried with her throughout her lifetime.

Crystal was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Timberly and son, Nathan. Her children were her entire world. She was their fiercest supporter, a constant presence, and their best friend through all of life’s seasons.

If Crystal wasn’t with her children, you could find her by the ocean, in her garden, listening to her favorite music, or hunting for treasures at a local yard sale.

She will always be remembered by her unconditional love, her giving spirit, and the joy she brought into so many lives

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, August 7 from 6 – 8 p.m. and her service will be on Friday, August 8 at 5 p.m., with a butterfly release to follow after. Both are held at the Fortin and Pinette Funeral Home 305 Alfred A Plourde Pkwy, Lewiston Maine 04240,
