Edward T. Wagner
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Edward T. Wagner of Phoenix, Ariz., passed away on Jan. 30, 2025, after a period of declining health.
Born Oct. 21, 1944, in Gardiner, Ed was the son of the late Clarence E. and Martha E. (Sargent) Wagner.
He attended school in Portland and Bath and graduated in the class of ‘63 from Morse High School in Bath. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. He worked as a metal fabricator at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Diamond Machine and NeoKraft Signs in Lewiston, retiring to Casa Grande and Phoenix, Ariz.
Ed was known for his woodworking skills. After he retired, he entertained himself with several projects. He built a 16-foot wooden boat that he used to go fishing.
Ed was predeceased by his parents and brother George W. Wagner.
He is survived by Linda (Scott) Wagner of Casa Grande and Phoenix; and their sons, Timothy (Karen) Wagner of Falmouth, and Jason (Ivy) Wagner of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Avery of Falmouth and Edward of Phoenix, Ariz., brother Richard (Sharon) Wagner of Orono, and sister Martha (Alan) Ladd of Litchfield; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held at the Basilica in Lewiston, on August 7 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery, Lewiston.
