Diane J. (Vaillancourt) Biron
LEEDS – Diane J. (Vaillancourt) Biron, 78, of Leeds passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Biron, who passed away on January 7, 2023.
She was born in Lewiston, ME on January 24, 1947, a daughter of the late William & Priscilla (Bissonnette) Vaillancourt. She grew up in Lewiston, attending local area schools and graduating from Lewiston High School.
Diane spent a couple of years working at Lewiston City Hall. After starting her family, she became an organist for many local churches including Holy Family & Sacred Heart. In the eighties she started teaching private piano lessons as well as co-founding Magic Pops Chorus, which performed at the original Lewiston High School.
She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Powers of Walpole, N.H., and Nicole Robichaud and her husband Wayne of Oxford. She also leaves behind three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church, 8 Sacred Heart Place, Auburn. Committal prayers will follow in the Maine Veterans Cemetery, 163 Mt Vernon Road, Augusta.
