PHILLIPS – Carol Ann Childs was born June 30, 1954 in Harlingen, Texas, the second child of Robert A. and Laurette Childs. She left us July 29, 2025, after a long struggle with dementia.
Born in Texas, Carol was a cowgirl at heart. As a child she was gifted a pony (Bay Prince) by her beloved grandmother. She spent her lifetime loving horses, a good trail ride and the company of friends.
It was a trail ride that brought her and Richard Eno together. She was happy to spend the rest of her life with him and he took great love and care of her.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Laurette Childs and will be laid to rest with them in her home town of Phillips.
She is survived by her loving partner, Richard Eno; her brother, Larry Childs and his wife Arolyn; her son, Benjamin Desjardins and his wife Marianna, her daughter, Kasey Theberge and husband Michael; step-grandchild, Kendra Hanscom and husband Nicholas.
