Bonnie J. Webber
NEW GLOUCESTER – Bonnie J. Webber, 76, of New Gloucester passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 8, 2025.
She was born on May 5, 1949, in Keene, N.H., the only child of Dorothy and Leonard Wyman. She attended local schools and worked at New Hampshire Public Service until relocating to Maine.
Bonnie met her future husband and lifelong partner on a blind date in 1967. She and Gary Webber were married in 1971 and spent 54 wonderful years together walking on the beach hand in hand.
In Maine, she worked at Central Maine Power Co., but her true life’s dedication was to her family. Bonnie and Gary had two children, Hayley and Benjamin Webber. While raising her family, she worked part-time and ran an in-home daycare so she could be there for her children.
She loved hiking and camping with family at Hermit Island. They travelled to Japan, cruised the Mediterranean, and most recently to Alaska. She loved cats and enjoyed sharing stories about them. Her life was full and she will be forever loved.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Gary; her daughter, Hayley of North Yarmouth, her son, Benjamin and his wife Mona of Chicago, Ill.; her two grandchildren, Geneva and Lincoln Welles; and her beloved cat, Willie Nelson.
She loved watching her grandchildren grow and adored attending their athletic events.
At Bonnie’s request, there will be no service.
Condolences and fond memories may be shared at http://www.albert-burpee.com on Bonnie’s memorial page. Arrangements are under the care of Albert and Burpee Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 253 Pine St., Lewiston, 782-7201.
