Shirley Ann Wyman Dolloff

PERU – Shirley Ann Wyman Dolloff, 89, of Peru, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sept. 1, 2025. She was born a daughter of Willard E. and Maggie Robertson Wyman on August 21, 1936, in Rumford, Maine where she lived until she married her high school sweetheart, Robert C. Dolloff on Sept. 15, 1956.

She graduated from Rumford High School in 1954 and the University of Maine at Farmington in 1973, where she received her teaching degree in Elementary Ed. She taught K thru 8 for 20 years in Dixfield, Canton, and Peru.

She enjoyed music of all kinds. She taught piano for a few years. She and her husband, Bob, taught line dancing, clogging and square dancing. She and Bob were the co-founders of the Scoggin Cloggers. She and Bob were part of the Peru Historical Society and Cemetery Committee. She was a member of the West Peru Baptist Church.

She was preceded by her husband, Robert; parents, Willard E. and Maggie Robertson Wyman; brothers Dale and Alden Wyman; grandson Kyle Robert Nisbet; and great-granddaughter Rudy Lynn Dolloff.

She is survived by her children Cyndi Dolloff of Peru, son John Dolloff and wife Cathy of Peru, daughter Judy Gill and husband Kenny of Peru, daughter Carol Donaher and husband Ed of Virginia Beach, Va. and son Clinton Dolloff and wife Becky of Dixfield; nine grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister-in-law Marion Wyman of Smithfield, and brother-in-law Richard Dolloff and wife Patricia of Peru.

Public graveside memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Knight Cemetery, Auburn Road, Peru.
