Glen V. Allen Jr.

BOWDOIN – Glen V. Allen Jr., 54, of West Bowdoin, a cherished and beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 15, 2025. He was blessed to be surrounded by his family at his home during his time of passing.

Glen was a Christ following, gentle spirited, tenderhearted man, whose love for the Lord and his family showed in everything he did. A man who was strong and tenacious on the outside, but selfless and full of compassion on the inside. An honest man full of integrity, who always spoke the truth. Glen’s beautiful spirit shone through always and his love knew no bounds. The light in him was so bright that he had a way of drawing people in and making true friends wherever he went. His strong faith radiated through even at the end.

Beyond his professional life as the General Foreman of the Sheet Metal department at CCB Construction he was known to be a family man. Spending time with his family was the one thing he loved most. Making maple syrup, apple cider and garden harvesting times became a yearly family tradition. Glen loved hosting annual summer BBQ’s spent playing wiffle ball, manhunt, capture the flag and many other crazy fun filled competitions with family and friends (where participation was mandatory). He loved the Farm and everything that came with it, as well as gardening, spending nights around the campfire making s’mores and listening to the Red Sox games at camp, strolling the rivers and streams fishing, playing and watching sports, and just the simple things in life. He was a positive influence in his community and was an active member of the West Bowdoin Baptist Church. His presence will be greatly missed.

His loving spirit is carried on by his wife Nichole M. Allen; their children Glen V Allen III, his wife Erika, Breanne E. Allen, Kaitlyn E. Veno, her husband Ty, Sarah E. Allen, Camden J. Allen, and Matthew C. Allen; along with his grandchildren, Georgia and Glen Allen IV and Evelyn and soon-to-be Elijah Veno; parents Glen and Mary Allen and Robert and Linda Gould; siblings Julie Allen-Hobson, Dottie Bernier, her husband Jeff, Tonia Ross, her husband Brian, Milton Temple, his wife Tanya and Spencer Gould; along with a barn yard full of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding him in peace were his children Noah Michael Allen and Leah Elissa Allen; his brother Peter Milliken; and grandparents George and Lois Rancourt and Raymond and Vera Allen.

A Visitation for Glen will be held at Crosman Funeral home on Friday Sept. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with 4 to 5 p.m. for family visitation and 5 to 8 p.m. open to the public. A ceremony will be held at the West Bowdoin Baptist Church Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. A burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery and a Celebration of Life directly afterwards at the West Bowdoin Baptist Church Parish Hall.
