Sandra “Sandy” Nadeau

LEWISTON – Sandra “Sandy” Nadeau, 75, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength.

Sandy was a woman of remarkable character – thoughtful, selfless, caring, strong, witty, and above all, loving. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued, whether it was through her quick humor, her listening ear, or the simple comfort of her presence.

To her family and friends, she was not only a guiding light but also the heart of every gathering.

Family was Sandy’s greatest joy. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, celebrating milestones both big and small, and creating memories that will be carried forward for generations. She was happiest surrounded by those she loved, whether that meant sharing a meal, cheering on her grandchildren, or simply enjoying quiet moments together.

Sandy leaves behind a loving brother Greg Poliquin; three amazing children, Erica Robison, Scott Harriman, and Jamie Thomas, who will forever carry her strength and love within them. Her revered Daughter-in-Law Taryn Harriman; and seven wonderful grandchildren, Tianna Harriman, Malayka Harriman, Jayden Harriman, Ava Harriman, Caylan Luce, Kieran Luce, and Salem Harriman. To them, she was more than a grandmother; she was a teacher, a cheerleader, and a safe place to land. She was immensely proud and devoted to her family.

Her life was defined not by what she had, but by what she gave – her time, her love, her laughter, and her endless encouragement. She showed all who knew her the true meaning of resilience, generosity, and unconditional love.

A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, at 11a.m., at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Jay. Relatives and friends are invited to call one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton.

Following interment, the family invites all to join them at her home in Lewiston. In honor of her memory, the family invites everyone to carry forward her spirit of kindness by spending time with loved ones and cherishing life’s simple joys. Memories may be shared in her Book of Memories at http://www.wilesrc.com.
