I write in strong support of Julia Harper, who is running to represent Ward 4 on the Lewiston School Committee.

Julia’s community ties are extensive, with deep roots in public health and food security. She is
thoughtful and empathetic, qualities essential to someone hoping to represent the educational needs of our district.

Julia is committed to finding new solutions and creative in the way she approaches challenges. She excels at building strong personal relationships and using facilitative leadership to build consensus. She is never afraid of doing what is right, even when that is difficult. Her integrity is what I admire most.

As the mom of a spunky 3-year-old, she is personally invested in making our school system as successful as possible for all of our students, now and into the future.

I encourage voters to join me in supporting her. I promise we won’t regret it.
