No injuries were reported Wednesday after a Regional School Unit 9 bus and a vehicle collided on U.S. Route 2/state Route 27 in New Sharon.

Superintendent Christian Elkington said in an email that 14 students and a driver were on the bus from Cape Cod Hill elementary school in New Sharon.

“There were no injuries at the scene with either vehicle involved,” Elkington said.

All parents were being called and students were transferred to another bus to take them home, he said.

Details of the accident, including the identities of the drivers, were not immediately available from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
