TURNER – Stephen Earl Hossler, 78, of Turner, passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 3, 2025.
Born and raised in Ohio, Steve was known for his quiet strength, generosity, thoughtfulness, and loyalty.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, Janet, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage filled with devotion and joy.
Steve took immense pride in his family and is survived by his two sons, Stephen and Scott; his beloved grandson, Arick; his daughter-in-law, Alyssandra; and his sister, JoAnne.
He cherished time spent with dear friends and found pleasure in traveling, a cold Pepsi, and golf.
Throughout his life, Steve demonstrated unwavering steadfastness in both his professional endeavors and family commitments. He took great pride in providing for his loved ones. Though not one to express his feelings easily, those close to him recognized the depth of his love beneath his quiet, reserved exterior.
Steve left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His legacy of devotion, generosity, and love will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Lewiston will be private.
