We spooked a few people who incorrectly guessed last week’s Mystery Photo of a mural on the sidewalk in front of L/A Arts on Lisbon Street in Lewiston. One of our regulars, David Linehan, sent us some great information with his entry. “Sidewalk art mural outside 168 Lisbon St., Lewiston, Maine, painted by Melanie Therrien, Wicked Illustrations Studio, depicting a friendly ghost in the field of flowers. The sidewalk art featuring five murals was sponsored by the Lewiston Public Art Committee. In the spring, more murals are planned. 167 to 169 Lisbon St. is the DB Cressy building built in 1895 by David Cressy, and housed various real estate businesses and offices. At one time it housed the club room of the Eagles social club.” In a random drawing from all the correct entries, Peggy Volock of Auburn was picked as the winner of a $25 Hannaford Supermarket gift card.
