Charles H. Hoy

LEWISTON – Charles H. Hoy, 97, of Lewiston died early Wednesday morning, Nov. 19, 2025, at the Andwell Hospice House. He was born March 31, 1928, to John and Emma (Hoffmann) Hoy. He was the youngest of nine siblings. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Second World War. Upon leaving the service, he would marry his spouse of sixty-six years, Florence E. (Brown), and became the father of two children, and a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather. He was regarded as a strong rock for his family and spouse.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church at a later date and time to be announced. Thank you to the CMMC hospital in Lewiston, and Andwell Hospice House in Auburn and Clover Manor.
