Robert J. Perreault
JAY – Robert J. Perreault, “Pro”, 92, a longtime resident of Jay, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born Oct. 18, 1933, in St. Methode, Canada, the son of Aime and Aurore “Laura” (Simard) Perreault. He graduated from Jay High School, class of 1953, and was an honored U.S. Army Veteran, stationed in Colorado, teaching outdoor survival skills.
On April 22, 1957, he married Jeannine Legere at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay. They were married for 68 years. Robert worked for International Paper Co. in Jay in the Maintenance Dept, retiring in 1987. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, member of the Int. Paper. Co. Quarter Century Club and U.P.I.U. Local #14. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at camps in Andover and Jackman. He also enjoyed traveling and carpentry (building the house he lived in for 61years).
He is survived by his wife, his three daughters, Kathy Durrell and husband Stewart of Industry, Sandra Perreault of Wilton, Judith Giardino and husband Jim of Jay: a son, Timothy Perreault and wife Tina of Jay. Also, grandchildren; Adam Pomeroy and wife Kirsten, Christina Carrier and husband Nathan, and ReNae McDonald and great grandchildren Maddyson Goodwin, Kelsey Pomeroy, Hunter Carrier, Kayden Pomeroy and Haley Carrier. Also survived by his sister Leanne Wood of Jay, and sister-in-law Carol Perreault of Jay.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, sister Anita Castonguay; brothers Roger “Fat” and Maurice “Moe” Perreault; Sister-in-law Ray Perreault, Brother-in-laws Rene Castonguay and Barry Wood.

A graveside service and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 445 Park St., Livermore Falls, Maine will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls.
