Clifford “Cliff” Page Jr.
LEWISTON – Clifford “Cliff” Page Jr., the man who could turn a bowl of soup into a gourmet experience and a family gathering into an episode of laughter, passed away from us on Nov. 21, 2025. Born on March 28, 1957, in Bangor, Cliff was the kind of guy who made the world a bit brighter and a lot more fun.
Cliff grew up in Auburn. After graduating from Edward Little High School in 1976, he joined the U.S. Navy. Later, as the head chef at St. Mary’s Hospital for over 30 years, he served up more than just meals; he dished out jokes, jabs, and joy like they were going out of style.
Whether Cliff was bowling strikes, spiking volleyballs, or hitting home runs, he was always active. And just when you thought he’d retire his sneakers, he switched to being the loudest and proudest grandparent in the stands at his grandchildren’s sports games.
Family was the main ingredient in Cliff’s life recipe. He is survived by his children, Jennifer and Andy Brooker, Violet and Neil Nalley, and his cherished grandchildren (Jason and Samuel Brooker; Nate Nalley; Latisha Conley; Shaina Nalley) and great-grandchildren. His sisters, Diane Michaud and Muriel Page, will miss him too! Predeceased by his parents, Violet Berube and Clifford Page, Sr., and siblings Robert and Mona Jean.
As we bid farewell to Cliff, let’s remember him not with sadness but with the sound of laughter. He’d want us to crack jokes, share stories, and live life with the same zest he did. Fair winds and following seas, Cliff – your legacy will continue to float on the laughter and love you’ve left behind.
