Construction continues Wednesday morning on the new Maine Museum of Innovation, Learning and Labor building, lower right, formerly Museum LA. Programs and exhibits are still ongoing at the museum’s current location in the Bates Mill Complex. The new museum building, located next to Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston, left, will include permanent and rotating exhibit spaces, a learning center, hands-on interactive design lab, children’s gallery, Oct. 25 memorial room, and extensive archives and collection storage.
