Joshua K. Robertson

LEWISTON – Joshua K. Robertson unexpectedly died at CMMC at the age of 46.

He didn’t lose a battle to anything; he simply ghosted life, likely distracted by a shiny object or a complex internal monologue about theoretical physics and sandwich fillings. He never quite grasped the concept of “adulting.” His life was a masterclass in organized chaos, fueled by love and passion. His departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, especially his twin flame Stephanie Mains. Described perfectly when he professed that there was something in her he loved that he could never find in another human.

Josh was born on Oct. 2, 1979, in Brunswick, Maine to Susan Deemer and Mark Robertson. As a journeyman electrician, Josh was an avid RC car enthusiast turning any location into an off road track with his best friend and cousin Chris Taylor. Josh carried a special place in his heart for the man he admired most, Dougie, his mentor and grandfather.

He is survived by his life partner Stephanie Mains, and her children, Lillian Marston and her husband Dylan and Dominic Hart; his mother Susan and stepfather Scott Weeks, father Mark; his three children, Ryan, Germaine and Kayla, and granddaughter Harper; his beloved younger sister Carly Downs and partner Michael Smith; his newly born niece, Elise D. Smith; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins, they will continue to hold his spirit in their hearts.

He is eternally reunited with his maternal grandparents Joan Deemer and Douglas (Dougie) White, his paternal grandparents Keith and Frieda Robertson and his favorite cohort Terence Nadeau.

Condolences and fond memories may be shared with Josh’s family and friends at http://www.albert-burpee.com

A Celebration of Josh’s life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Albert & Burpee Funeral Home & Cremation Services 253 Pine St. Lewiston, 782-7201.
