Michael W. Keene
AUBURN – Michael W. Keene, 72, of Auburn, passed away at his home on Sept. 18, 2025. Born in Lewiston on Jan. 9, 1953, he was the son of Linwood and Jean Harding Keene.
From the age of 15 Michael showed strength and independence. He earned his GED and began working at Jones and Vining, later dedicating 29 years of his life on the road as a truck driver. His work ethic and reliability were admired by all who knew him. Michael was a man of kindness, humor and generosity. He cared deeply for those around him, treating his loved ones with compassion and warmth.
Michael is survived by his partner in life, Connie Martin and her family, whom he considered as his own.
He found joy in woodworking and carpentry, often creating projects for others with skill and pride. He also enjoyed dancing and riding his trike. He and Connie loved taking the camper out for adventures, exploring new places, and traveling to different states together. Those journeys brought him happiness and created cherished memories.
Michael will be remembered for his hard working spirit, his sense of humor and the way he made everyone feel valued. He lived with kindness, worked with pride and loved with all his heart.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
