Cara Curato Vicari
RUMFORD – Cara Curato Vicari, 47, died Friday Dec. 5, 2025, at Central Maine Medical center in Lewiston. She resided in Rumford.
Born in Rumford, on May 3, 1978, she was a daughter of Michael Dane and Marie (Cunningham) Curato. She was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School. She enjoyed audio books and music.
Cara was married in Rumford, on Oct. 2, 2010, to Keith Vicari who survives of Georgetown, Mass. Other survivors include her mother, Marie Curato of Rumford, sisters, Tracy Prather and husband Scott of Smyrna, Ga., and Lani Bisson of Auburn, Father and Mother-in-law, Michael and Carolyn Vicari of Georgetown, Mass., sister-in-law Stacey Hescock and husband Michael of Peabody, Mass., her caregiver, Debbie Milligan and many nieces and nephews and special aunts and uncles, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday Dec. 13, 2025, at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church 126 Maine Ave, Rumford. Interment in the spring will be in St John Cemetery in Rumford.
