Nathan D. Meisner
SALEM, NH – Nathan D. Meisner, 36, a lifelong resident of Salem, NH, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Nathan was born on July 30, 1989, in Derry, NH, to Kurt and Gretchen (Horne) Meisner. He graduated from Salem High School, Class of 2007, and went on to earn his degree from Merrimack College in 2011. From a young age, Nathan worked alongside his dad in the family business, Meisner Brem Corporation, where he was a dedicated land surveyor.
While attending Merrimack College, Nathan met the love of his life and best friend, Courtney Gladu. They were married on August 27, 2022. They shared their lives in Salem with their dog Happy, who was a constant companion with Nate on many adventures.
Nathan was a member of the Merrimack Valley Umpires Association and formerly served as Director of the Millville Lake Protection Association. He had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, golfing, snowboarding, kayaking, and pond hockey. Nathan will always be remembered for his generous spirit, kind heart, fun-loving nature, and genuine personality.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Courtney Gladu; his parents, Kurt and Gretchen Meisner; his brothers, Zack Meisner and his wife Molly, and their son Kade, and Matt Meisner and his wife Erika; his parents-in-law, Edward and Patricia Turgeon; his siblings-in-law, Eddie, Tommy, and Sophia Turgeon; best man Greg Lorenz; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many cherished friends who will miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home; guests are asked to arrive between 10 and 11 a.m.
