I’m writing about the rather insulting letter I received from E-ZPass customer service today, specifically, the sentence that reads, “At this time, we request that you immediately refrain from evading tolls, and reimburse the outstanding toll amount of $_.__.”
The letter implies that the Maine Turnpike Authority is accusing me of stealing from them, when it seems to me, instead, that they can’t seem to fill their toll booths with people to collect my tolls. Perhaps I don’t want to put my card online to use “E-ZPass” and expose my bank account to theft?
I strongly suggest the Turnpike Authority find more employees so they don’t offend their customers so much.
