I think this will be interesting. In our paper in Florida, they quote WalletHub. The WalletHub analysis includes financial safety and natural disaster risk. According to them, the top 10 safest cities in the United States are: Warwick, Rhode Island; Overland Park, Kansas; Burlington, Vermont; Juneau, Alaska; Yonkers, New York; Casper, Wyoming; South Burlington, Vermont; Columbia, Maryland; Lewiston, Maine; and Salem, Oregon.
I don’t know if the city of Lewiston has been notified that they made the top 10 list!
