Robert H. Gregory
AUBURN – Robert H. Gregory, 87, of Sumner, died early Saturday morning at Andwell Hospice.
He was born in Hiawassee, Ga. on August 24, 1938, a son of Doyle and Ida Barrett Gregory. He graduated from High school in Ohio and faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a computer operator at University of Akron, American Bank and Trust, Wagner Auto Parts.
He married Elizabeth Wilks on March 20, 1971. They moved to Sumner from New Jersey. He lived a comfortable life and enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone. He had been a gun collector in earlier years and spent time teaching his family gun safety.
Survivors include his wife Betty; daughter Sue Anne Stenger, son Robert Gregory and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren Michael Stenger, Connor and Liam Gregory. He was predeceased by a son David and his brother John.
