Judith R. Morrison

POLAND – Judith R. Morrison, 69, of Poland, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Jan. 25, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Lewiston, Maine, to Richard and Donna (Kilby) Ames.

Judy married John Morrison and they celebrated 50 years of marriage this past July. They loved their home on the lake, hosting friends for many great cookouts. She and John enjoyed camping and ATV trail riding with friends and spending time at their camp in Eustis, snowmobiling with friends and family. She enjoyed attending all her grandkids’ sporting and school events, soccer, softball, basketball, plays, and chorus concerts.

She was a stay-at-home mom for many years and then worked in the family business Morrison & Sylvester for many years before retiring in 2020.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, her in-laws Keith and Perdita Morrison, and sister-in-law Joyce DeCormier.

She is survived by her husband John; son Kevin (Dawn), daughter Kristan (Ryan) Kramlich; and granddaughters Ellie and Paige; brothers Scott (Carol) Ames and Ronnie (Julie) Ames, brother-in-law Richard (Francie) Morrison, sister-in-law Becky Stevens, brother-in-law Jim (Sheila) Morrison, sister-in-law Jennifer (Jason) Potter; many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her special friend and cousin Sue (Mike) Mercier, and adopted (family) neighbors Jeremy, Lisa, Karlee, and and JJ Lothrop.
