The Maine Mariners scored four straight goals and beat the Orlando Solar Bears, 6-3, in an ECHL game on Friday night in Portland.
The Mariners trailed 3-2 when Orlando’s Aaron Luchuk scored 4:18 into the second period. Maine tied it on a goal by Xander Lamppa and took the lead on a goal by Zach Jordan later in the second.
Antonio Venuto added a pair of third-period goals for Maine. Jordan also scored in the first period and Max Andreev in the second for the Mariners.
Luchuk scored twice and Reece Newkirk added a goal for Orlando.
Brad Arvanitis made 30 saves for Maine, while Colby Muise and Harrison Meneghin combined for 22 saves for the Solar Bears.
