
Louis P.. Carbonneau
BEAUFORT, S.C.- Louis P. Carbonneau, 54, formerly of Lewiston, died on Sunday Jan. 18, 2026, in Beaufort, SC. Louis moved to Beaufort in 2022.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1971, the son of the late H. Paul and Lauretta (Comeau) Carbonneau. He graduated from Lewiston High in 1990 and graduated from Bates College in 1994 with a degree in theater. He also trained at the British American Drama Academy in London England. Louis moved to New York City to follow his love of acting. He performed in many plays and was seen on some of our favorite shows like Law & Order: Special Victim Unit, Grey’s Anatomy, The Big C, and New Amsterdam and more.
Louis moved to South Carolina in 2022. He loved golfing, and performing. Louis impacted the lives of all the people he met. He had a very loving, caring heart.
Louis was predeceased by his mother Lauretta and his father H. Paul Carbonneau, and his niece Hope Killam.
Louis is survived by a brother Andre Carbonneau and partner Kathleen Libby of Auburn, a sister Annie Killam and husband Glen of Contoocook, NH, a sister Suzanne Davis and husband John of Mechanic Falls; nephews, Alex Carbonneau and wife Meaghan and their two boys, Gabriel and Jackson of Chelsea, Kristopher Killam and his partner T. J. Levasseur, Nicholas Killam and Jacob Killam of Contoocook, NH, Spencer Davis of Mechanic Falls, and a niece Katherine Killam of Contoocook, NH.
A celebration of life will be scheduled later in the spring, where we will laugh and tell stories and celebrate the life of Louis. He leaves behind many friends and family.
