Sandra L. Blodgett
MEXICO – Sandra L. Blodgett, 75, passed away Friday Feb. 6, 2026, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. She resided on Kimball Ave in Mexico.
Born in Rumford on July 3, 1950, Sandra was a daughter of Basil “Buster” and Beverly (Farnham) Martin. She was a graduate of Mexico High School class of 1968. She worked for many years as a cook for several restaurants in the area, including the Chicken Coop in Mexico and previously co-owning the Going Home restaurant in Dixfield. As a voracious reader, she was a frequent visitor to the local library.
Survivors include her sons, Todd Blodgett and companion Tammy Kubesh and Silas Blodgett; grandchildren, Austin Blodgett, Matt and wife Jenn Smith and Mike and wife Emily Smith; great grandsons, August and Oliver Smith; a brother, Barry Martin and wife Janine, sisters, Penny Martin, Peggy Martin, Terri Yates, and Tina and husband Gary LaPrell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Tammy Philbrick; and daughter-in-law Stacey Blodgett.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday Feb. 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME. Interment in the spring will be in the Farrington Morton Cemetery in Mexico.
