Bruce Everett Rowe
DURHAM – Bruce passed away peacefully on Feb. 14, 2026, at his home in Durham with his wife and three daughters at his side. He was 82 years old.
Bruce was born in Avon, Maine to Barbara J. Rowe and Everett Rowe, and grew up in Auburn, graduating from Edward Little High School in 1962. He then joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served for 30 years.
Bruce married the love of his life, Dorothy D’Amours of Durham on Aug. 17, 1963. They raised three daughters, Jackie, Cathy, and Tina.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy; daughter, Jackie and husband Mike Coslet, daughter, Cathy and husband Joel Hadley, and daughter, Tina Rowe; four grandsons, Kenny Coslet and wife Darcy, Aaron Coslet and wife Corinne, Christopher Sawyer, Brandon Sawyer and wife Kiana; two great-grandsons, Waylon and Tucker Coslet, two great-granddaughters, Quinn Coslet and Peyton Sawyer; two brothers, Donnie Rowe and Mike Rowe, one sister, Pat Barry and a half-brother, Everett Danforth; along with several nieces and nephews.
Bruce was predeceased by both of his parents; and two sisters, Janice Chaplin and Anita Lizotte.
