ANDOVER – Glynda Lee Miller Childs passed away quietly on Feb. 21, 2026.
She was born in 1937 in Brooksville, Fla., and married James Childs in 1954.
The work she was most proud of was as a lab tech where she spent many years setting up labs in local doctors’ offices and training staff to make lab work easily accessible to patients.
She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and her cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Marston and husband Steve; sons, Rick Childs and his wife Mary and Patrick Childs; a grandson Jeremy Childs and wife Jada; great grandchildren, Mike and Liv Rowe, Ella Cote and Mason and Irelyn Childs; a sister Andrea Dobbs.
She was predeceased by her husband James; granddaughter Christine Rowe; grandson Joseph Marston; two sisters Mary Charity and Pam Mcginley.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Cliff Gray Cremation & Funeral Services where condolences and tributes may be shared at http://www.cliffgraycremations.com.
