LIVERMORE FALLS — Two New York men were indicted by a grand jury this week, charged in connection with a home invasion at a Hunton Loop mobile home park in December 2025.

Joshua Washington and Daniel Gala, both 25 and from New York City, were indicted on charges of robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, aggravated criminal trespass, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal display of a weapon and assault.

Washington was charged with an additional count of theft when the Androscoggin County Grand jury rose this week.

The two men are accused of bursting into a mobile home on Dec. 14 where they assaulted and robbed a man.

The victim told police that the suspects wore black ski masks and carried guns when they forced their way into his home and assaulted him with a handgun.

The victim was able to call police during the ordeal. When Livermore Falls police and deputies from the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s office arrived, investigators found one suspect inside the home and another hiding in nearby woods.

The victim was treated for minor injuries suffered.

As part of their investigation, police went to a nearby home where they found a third suspect, another 20-year-old New York man, along with more than 200 grams of cocaine and crack. Police said they also recovered roughly $8,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

The third suspect was questioned by police but not immediately charged. Investigators said this week that further charges could be coming in the case.

Washington and Gala remained at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn awaiting trial.
