Rebecca Hinckley
RUMFORD – Rebecca Hinckley, 53, passed away Saturday Feb. 7, 2026, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston surrounded by her family. She resided on Maine Avenue in Rumford.
Rebecca was born in Rumford on Feb. 27, 1972, the daughter of Ivory and Yvette (Corriveau) Currier. She was a graduate of Telstar High School and worked at Sunday River. She enjoyed animals and watching animal shows and spending time with her family.
Rebecca was married in Otisfield on August 12, 1995, to Harold Hinckley who survives, of Rumford. Other survivors include her daughter Liz Merriam and spouse Eryn of Waterville; her parents Ivory and Yvette Currier of Bethel; brothers, Daryl Currier and wife Cecile of Unity, NH, Eric Currier of Rumney, NH, and Aaron Currier and wife Lorey of Andover; her grandmother Maxine Corriveau; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Melody.
