Venise T. Morin
BATH – Venise T. Morin, 95 of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Winship Green Rehab Center and Nursing Home in Bath.
She was born in Lewiston, on Oct. 10, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Philippe Beaudoin and Maria Beaudoin.
On May 9, 1953, she married her loving husband, Roger E. Morin at Saints Peter and Paul Church, Lewiston. They spent 60 wonderful years together. Roger passed on Aug. 24, 2013.
Venise lived all her life in Lewiston, surrounded by her siblings, nephews, and nieces. In her earlier years she was employed at Bates Mill for over 50 years. She was forever loving and grateful for her family. Venise was very kind and good natured, never having a bad word to say about anyone. She was a beautiful soul who had a strong faith in God. She was extremely devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary, saying her rosary and praying for everyone daily. She also had a strong devotion to St. Jude and St. Anthony, patron saints of Hope and the Lost.
She loved her road trips with Roger always looking for a good place to grab a meal or ice cream. They shared camps together in Rangeley and Harpswell. They were both special places where many cherished memories were made with family and friends. She loved time spent with family. This is where her heart was.
She was an avid doer of Jigsaw puzzles and a big collector of bells from around the world. Venise loved sewing, mending many items of clothing for family and friends. She was a devoted Catholic, attending St. Peter’s School and belonging to St. Joseph ‘s and St. Peter’s parishes.
Venise is survived by her children, Richard Morin and wife Diane, Ronald Morin, both of Lewiston and daughter, Debbie Hiscock of North Turner. Her grandchildren include Nathan Morin of Farmington, Nicholas Morin and wife Britton of Warren, N.J., Ryan Morin of Hallowell, Brandon Morin and Kayla of Greene, Brian Hiscock and Chelsey of North Turner. Venise loved all her great-grandchildren, they were special to her, Cooper, Laila, Emmett, Izac, Izabel, Alexis, Scarlet, Stella, Jayce and beloved family dog, Brodie. She had many nieces and nephews, especially Diane Boulay and husband Steve of Buckfield, and Joey Morin and Kelsie of Litchfield who were a big help in Venise’s final days.
She was predeceased by her parents; loving husband, Roger; brothers Eugene and Raymond Beaudoin, and sister, Germaine (Beaudoin) Morin.
A special thanks to all the doctors and staff who took care of her at St. Mary’s Hospital and Winship Green nursing facility.
Services are in the care of The Fortin and Pinette Group. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fortin and Pinette Funeral Home located at 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston on Wednesday, March 18, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery immediately following mass.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude Claretian Missionaries who she supported and had many masses said for deceased loved ones.
