I watched President Trump’s State of the Union address and found myself asking: “Is Trump living in a glass bubble in another world?”
I realize he is talking to his base and making claims to minimize the expected Republican loss in the upcoming fall elections. However, it took the longest speech on record to make continuous erroneous claims.
The cost of groceries; gas prices; employment and unemployment claims; the real cost of tariffs; allegations of cheating in our elections, etc. The list could go on and on but it would just support these two observations.
Trump is an exceptional politician and a very talented showman. He has the ability to control most of his followers.
He has also lived a very privileged life. It is almost impossible for a person of his wealth to truly relate to the common citizen. He lives in a glass bubble in another world.
