LOVELL — Lovell United Church of Christ is pleased to offer the next in their series of take-out only dinners on Saturday June 26, from 5-6:30 p.m. Menu will include BBQ chicken, potato salad, Cole slaw, and homemade dessert bars. Cost is $12. Proceeds will be used toward the replacement windows in the church building. This dinner always sells out so please call 207-928-3100 to reserve yours soon! PARIS — There will be a pasta supper, sponsored by the AMVETS on June 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at American Legion, 22 Church Street, South Paris. The menu includes pasta with sausage or meatballs, shrimp scampi, salad, and dessert. Cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children, and take out or eat-in is available.
Bingo
NORWAY — Bingo is back at the American Legion, Main Street, Norway. Doors open at 4 p.m. Candy, crackers, chips, prepackaged snacks, coffee, water, and soda only. We look forward to seeing everyone again. If you have not been vaccinated, we would like you to wear a mask.
Walks
BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Historical Society will offer a series of low impact informational walks once a month at Narramissic Historic Farm and the Peabody-Fitch Woods in South Bridgton. BHS Board President and Loon Echo Land Trust Stewardship Manager, Jon Evans, will lead the walks, which are free. This month’s walk will be held Friday, June 25 at 9:00 a.m. and feature the history of the farmstead. The Peabody-Fitch Woods trail system was created by Loon Echo Land Trust and features a universal access gravel-surfaced trail that takes visitors through woods, along rock walls, to a viewpoint of the farm, fields, and the distant White Mountains. Sales
NORWAY — There will be a rummage sale, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 82 at the American Legion Hall, located on Main Street in Norway on June 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please come and help us support our community and veterans.
Lunch
NORWAY – The public is invited to a Lobster Roll Lunch at the Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main St., Norway. This will be a DRIVE-THRU/ TAKE-OUT lunch and will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The menu includes Deb and Jane’s famous lobster rolls, chips, brownies and a cold drink. There will be hot dogs available for those who do not eat lobsters. This is a major fundraiser for the church and the cost will be Market Price.
The Second Congregational Church, U.C.C. is an open and affirming congregation. We welcome all to worship, study and join in fellowship with us. The proceeds from the lunch will benefit the many missions of our community focused congregation. FMI, please call the church office 207-743-2290.
