AUBURN — Wicked Illustrations Studio and Gallery is seeking artwork for its exhibit, “1,000 Words,” visual art as a means of communication.

All media from emerging as well as established artists will be considered. Deadline for submissions is April 25. Guidelines can be found at www.wickedillustrations.com.

The exhibit will be on display from May 10 through July 8, with a reception scheduled for Saturday, May 14. Wicked Illustrations is at 190 Riverside Dr.

LEWISTON — L/A Arts’ Gallery 5 is on the lookout for creative people with ideas to share with the community at its next Pecha Kucha Night on Friday, April 8.

A presenter with a story to tell, a project to share or an idea to bounce off other creative thinkers will show 20 slides and talk about each for 20 seconds. So, he/she will have the floor for 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Ten presenters are slated.
