WILTON — The next in a series of free programs sponsored by The Wilton Group will focus on how to have a business presence on the Internet.
The program takes place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Wilton Free Public Library on Main Street.
Topics covered include:
* Why your business should have a website
* How to get it done-effectively and inexpensively, and doing it yourself
* What should be included
In a recent Wilton Business Survey conducted by The Wilton Group, a majority of respondents indicated that a business presence on the Internet is important and they would like more information about either getting their own business website or improving the one they have.
Phil Poirier, a Web designer since 1998, will give the presentation. His website can be viewed at www.philpoirier.com/web/links.html.
Several computers will be available. Attendees can also bring their own laptops; free WiFi is available.
This program is part of a series by The Wilton Group as part of its mission “to preserve, enhance, and promote the unique character of Wilton by facilitating communication, engagement and cooperation in our community.”
