DIXFIELD — The following incidents were handled by the Dixfield Police Department.

Arrests

* Virginia Bradeen, 59, of High Street, Dixfield, at 2 a.m., March 17, at her home on charges of obstructing government administration and hindering apprehension related to the escape of a man who was about to be arrested on a warrant. She was taken to Oxford County Jail where she was released on an unknown amount of bail. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

* Corey Taylor, 37, of Weld Street, Dixfield, at 7:50 p.m., at his home, on a charge of operating after suspension. He was released from the Dixfield Police Department on $800 unsecured bail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

* Joshua Johnston, 22, of Weld Street, Dixfield, at 9 p.m., March 20, on a warrant. He was taken to the Dixfield Police Department where he was unable to make $800 cash bail. He was then taken to the Oxford County Jail where he remains. His court date is unknown.

Theft

* An Arctic Cat snowmobile was reported stolen at 4:30 p.m., March 20, from Welch’s Campground in Dixfield by its Massachusetts owner. The snowmobile is valued at $3,700.

Recovered property

* Dirigo High School officials turned in a laptop during the morning of March 21, that had been stolen from Jay High School two years ago.
