Scott Roberts, owner of Roberts Excavating of Norway, prepares the site Thursday around the Gingerbread House on Main Street for the upcoming move of the historic 19th-century building up the street. Dana Hemingway of Roberts Excavating said the removal of the debris around the house will allow movers to put timbers under the structure in order to lift it up on a flatbed to move it. No date had been set for the move.
